He left after seven years to undergo a new industry.
The East Coast was calling his name and he moved to New York in 2012 to fulfill a two year contract as the Chief HR Advisor for a National Retail Entertainment company, Make Meaning. In this duration he built the foundation for all HR initiatives until the company suffered a permanent closure.

This is where he was able to take all three to a high quality level implementing a strong performing ATS, training all levels of management on a High Productive Performance Culture which decreased turnover by 29 percent in their North American region within two years and provided HR support globally with Employee Relations and Compliance programs. During a Union campaign at the Toronto location in May of 2017 the Management team and Dave were able to successfully defeat the certification under Ontario's rapid seven day response as well as defend the Unfair Labor Practice complaint with employer communications and responses.
